Day 23… A glorious day of getting lost in the miracles of the Universe!

Today I have mostly taken the day off with no expectation on myself to get anything done. I very quickly became lost in a book! Not one from my kindle either, a REAL paper book! I don’t have many of these with me or even own many anymore. We gave most of our books away! The special ones we gave to special people and the rest just to charity shops. Lots of the books were just from our old life and sat on shelves gathering dust maybe as status symbols so anyone who came round could see what kind of interests/personalities we had… “Yes, this is who I am, check out my books!” Then they ended up in storage during our travels last year and this time around we just wanted to let go of as much stuff as we could. Anything that was no longer relevant in our ‘now’ or just not precious or sentimental. Lighten the load. Open up new space. Wait and see what the Universe brings! Perhaps a view like this? Living rent free? For three months??? Am I allowed to celebrate the good stuff? Of course I am!

We have spend the last few evenings watching a series of lectures by Santos Bonacci called The Ancient Theology. This guy has some very interesting things to say about ancient history, the cosmos, the universe, sacred geometry and astrology and how it all fits together. My book today quotes; “Today the vast majority of the Earth’s population doesn’t really believe in astrology. It’s looked on as something of an old wives’ tale, primarily identified with the birthday of an individual and the star patterns at the moment of birth, but it has not always been this way.”

“In ancient times, as with Babylonia and Assyria, going back into Egypt 6,200 years ago, the interpretation … was used to assist the public welfare and the person of the king, because his person was linked to the public’s survival.” He goes on to talk about how the sun affects our weather, has adverse effects on our communications systems and satellites during solar flares and impacts on our magnetic fields. And, how the moon affects our oceans, creates tides, influences our weather, biological mating and birthing patterns and human emotions. “So, to say that the heavens have no effect on people or the Earth is rather ignorant and not scientifically true.” LOVE it!

The book is not about astrology actually but it links very nicely with the talks we have been watching. So far, Drunvalo Melchizedek’s book has taken me to Atlantis, The White Pyramid in Tibet, Ancient Mayan kingdoms and talks about how the indigenous tribes are working together to heal the Earth. His own story is in here too. I have read another of his books before and it completely blew me away! So that’s my glorious day, of getting completely lost in the magic and miracles of the Universe!

And, I did yoga for the first time in about a month! After practising everyday for well over a year it has been a sadly missed friend and with my little spot here with a view like this, it was awesome!

James has been on the roof of our van-house. He has bolted some metal brackets ready to fit the solar panel on but we are not sure how we are going to get it up there as it’s probably too heavy for me to support it while he pullies it up. We may have to call on the neighbours to help!

I leave you with another of my most favourite quotes. I do love my quotes, you may have noticed!? Thanks for reading, only a week left of everyday blogging. It’s become a really important part of the pattern of my days. See you tomorrow. X

“Go now, and live. Experience. Dream. Risk. Close your eyes and jump. Enjoy the freefall. Choose exhilaration over comfort. Choose magic over predictability. Choose potential over safety. Wake up to the magic of everyday life. Make friends with your intuition. Trust your gut. Discover the beauty of uncertainty. Know yourself fully before you make promises to another. Make millions of mistakes so that you will know how to choose what you really need. Know when to hold on and when to let go. Love hard and often and without reservation. Seek knowledge. Open yourself up to possibility. Keep your heart open, your head high and your spirit free. Embrace your darkness along with your light. Be wrong every once in a while, and don’t be afraid to admit it. Awaken to the brilliance in ordinary moments. Tell the truth about yourself no matter what the cost. Own your reality without apology. See goodness in the world. Be Bold. Be Fierce. Be Grateful. Be Wild, Crazy and Gloriously Free. Be you. Go now, and live.”
